Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrive in Delhi (Flight TBA)
On arrival at Delhi International airport, you will be welcomed by our executive and assisted for transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.
Day 02 : In Delhi

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day city tour of Old and New Delhi.

Start the day to explore the capital of Muslim India between the 12th and 20th centuries, the Old Delhi. We shall stop at the Red Fort for a photo shoot and then take a Rickshaw Ride through the narrow streets of the Old Delhi up to the nearby Jama Masjid Mosque, the largest in India, has a courtyard that can hold 25,000 worshippers. Then pay a poignant visit to Rajghat, the site of Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation and a memorial to this humble man who so changed the world.

In the afternoon we explore India’s bustling capital city the New Delhi visiting the Vijay Chowk, “Victory Square”, stopover at the Presidential Palace with its intriguing combination of classical and Indian design elements and the India Gate memorializing Indian soldiers who died in World War I. Finally visit the Qutab Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world.

Day 03 : Delhi – Leh (By Flight)
Arrive at Leh airport from Delhi, meet and greet by our representative and transfer to your reserved accommodation. Check in to the hotel and take proper rest to get your-self acclimatize. Later, in the evening you can talk a short walk around. Evening enjoy a Traditional Ladakhi Cultural Program. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 04 : In Leh
Morning after breakfast, proceed for the visit to Shey Palace & Monastery, the oldest capital of Ladakh. Amidst the abundance of natural beauty and magnificent mountains, Shey Monastery was built in 1655 by Deldan Namgyal, the king of Ladakh, in the memory of his father. It used to be the Summer Retreat for the Ladakhi kings. Most notable and the key feature is the Shakyamuni Buddha, with a height of 39ft in copper and gilded gold. On either side of the Buddha statue, the 16 saints (arhats) who achieved Nirvana, are displayed. And the wall behind has paintings of Buddha’s two most popular disciples. The walls of the entire monastery are painted with colorful depictions. The monastery is decorated with multiple murals of Buddha, various rock carvings and chortens all around the Shey Palace. In the afternoon walk up to The Leh Palace – which was the former royal palace overlooking the town. The palace was constructed circa 1600 by Sengge Namgyal. The palace was abandoned when Dogra forces took control of Ladakh in the mid-19th century and forced the royal family to move to Stok Palace. Next visit the Shanti Stupa - a Buddhist white-domed stupa on a hilltop was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu, Gyomyo Nakamura and part of the Peace Pagoda mission. The Shanti Stupa holds the relics of the Buddha at its base, enshrined by the 14th Dalai Lama. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 05 : Leh – Alchi (By Road 70 kms / 02 hrs)
Today morning we start our drive for Alchi. En-route you shall be visiting the Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill. Later in the afternoon visit Alchi Monastery or Alchi Gompa which is a Buddhist monastery, known more as a monastic complex (chos-'khor) of temples in Alchi village. The complex comprises four separate settlements in the Alchi village in the lower Ladakh region with monuments dating to different periods. Of these four hamlets, Alchi monastery is said to be the oldest and most famous. Alchi is also part of the three villages (all in lower Ladakh region) which constitute the ‘Alchi group of monuments’; the other two villages adjoining Alchi are the Mangyu and Sumda Chun. The monuments in these three villages are stated to be of "unique style and workmanship’, but the Alchi monastic complex is the best known. Overnight stay at hotel in Alchi.
Day 06 : Alchi - Leh (By Road 70 kms / 02 hrs)
After the Breakfast drive back to Leh en-route visiting Likir Monastery or Likir Gompa (Klud-kyil) picturesquely situated on a little hill in the valley near the Indus River and the village of Saspol. It belongs to the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism and was established in 1065 by Lama Duwang Chosje, under the command of the fifth king of Ladakh, Lhachen Gyalpo (Lha-chen-rgyal-po). Likir used to be on a major trade route which travelled via Tingmosgang, Hemis and Likir to Leh. The name Likir means “The Naga – Encircled”, representing the bodies of the two great serpent spirits, the Naga-rajas, Nanda and Taksako. It presumably, originally belonged to the early Kadampa order of Tibetan Buddhism. Post visit continue the drive to Leh, and on arrival check in to your hotel. The balance of the day will be free for independent activities. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 07: Leh – Nubra (140 kms / 4-5 hrs)
Today after breakfast, we start with our drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung-la (Highest Motorable Road in the world, 18,380 ft). You can take short breaks at roadside cafes and scenic points for photography. On arrival, check in to the hotel/camp. Nubra Valley is located on the ancient Silk Route, and has Shyok & Nubra Rivers snaking through it and some beautiful monasteries. The region is currently under military supervision because the road further leads to the Siachen base camp, which happens to be the highest battlefield in the world. With arid mountains in the backdrop, Nubra Valley is famous for the Bactrian Camels which are of the rarest sort (found only in Ladakh & Mongolia), having two humps and were the primary source of transportation in the silk route. Enjoy a Camel Safari on these camels at the Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hundur Village. In Diksit, you can buy some lovely Kashmiri or Tibetan arte-facts, pashmina shawls, woollen socks, almonds, apricots, apples and other things that define the area. Overnight stay at hotel/camps in Nubra Valley. All foreign nationals need to get protected area permit, and Indian travelers as well need to obtain an Inner Line Permit to enter the Nubra valley. You need to hand over the photocopies of your travel permits to the soldiers in the Khardung-La pass.
Day 08 : Nubra – Pangong Lake (150 kms / 6-7 hrs)
After breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake situated at 14,500 ft. Arrive and check in to your camp. The day will be free time at leisure. You enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. Overnight stay in Camps at Pangong Lake.
Day 09 : Pangong - Leh (140 kms / 4-5 hrs)

Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on lake. After breakfast start the drive back to Leh, en-route visiting Hemis & Thiksey:

Hemis Monastery - the largest and the richest monastery of Ladakh. It plays host to the Hemis festival held every year. Founded in 1627, it also houses largest Thangka in the world, made public in every 12 years.

Thiksey Monastery is again a beautiful monastery above the Manali-Leh highway. Built in traditional Tibetan style, it belongs to the Gelukpa (yellow hat sect) order.

On reaching Leh, check in to your hotel with the balance of the day free to explore the local markets and do some shopping.

Day 10 : Leh – Delhi (By Morning Flight) Delhi – Agra (By Road 210 kms / 4-5 hrs)

Early morning transfer to the airport to connect flight back to Delhi.

On reaching Delhi, you shall board your vehicle to start your drive to Agra. Arrive in Agra, check-in to your hotel. Later evening enjoy a Cultural Show – Mohabbat-e-Taj, at the Kalakriti Cultural & Convention Center.

Day 11 : Agra – Delhi (By Road 210 kms / 4-5 hrs)
Early morning Sunrise visit to Taj Mahal referred to as one of the wonders of the world. It is the epitome of tourism in India and is celebrated for its architectural magnificence and aesthetic beauty. A symphony in white marble, a tribute to eternal love, it was built by the Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The main structure is set amidst landscape gardens. While on three sides it is surrounded by high walls, the rear is bound by the river Yamuna. Post breakfast visit the Agra Fort, an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and the seat and stronghold of the Mughal Empire under many successive generations. Originally planned as an impregnable military structure by Akbar, the Agra Fort, over a period of time, acquired all the elegance, lavishness of an imperial palace. Later, start the drive back to Delhi. On reaching Delhi, check in to your hotel with the balance of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.
Day 12 : Delhi Depart
Breakfast at the hotel and check out at 1200 hrs. You shall be given the departure transfer to the airport 03 hours prior to your departure fight time or as advised to report by your airlines.
