Itinerary

Day 01 : Cochin Arrival

Arrive at Cochin Airport where you will be greeted and transferred to CGH Earth – Brunton Boatyard in Fort Kochi. Spend the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, stroll through Fort Kochi visiting Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, and the spice market. Witness a Kathakali performance at a local cultural center. Overnight at Brunton Boatyard.

Day 02 : Cochin – Munnar (Approx. 4.5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Munnar, the beautiful hill station set among tea gardens. Check in at CGH Earth – Windermere Estate (or a similar partner retreat). In the afternoon, visit the Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, and enjoy a walk through tea plantations. Evening at leisure with scenic views of the misty hills. Overnight at Munnar.

Day 03 : Munnar Sightseeing

Spend the day exploring Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, and enjoy panoramic views of rolling tea-covered hills. Continue to Top Station, Echo Point, and Attukad Waterfalls. Evening free to relax at the estate. Overnight at Windermere Estate.

Day 04 : Munnar – Thekkady (Approx. 3.5 hrs drive)

Drive to Thekkady, the land of spices and wildlife. Check in at CGH Earth – Spice Village, a resort styled like a traditional tribal village surrounded by spice plantations. In the afternoon, enjoy a spice plantation walk with a naturalist. Evening attend a cultural program such as Kalaripayattu (martial arts). Overnight at Spice Village.

Day 05 : Thekkady

Early morning, take a boat ride on Periyar Lake inside the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to spot elephants, wild boars, and exotic birds along the shore. Later, enjoy optional activities such as bamboo rafting, nature walks, or an Ayurvedic massage. Evening at leisure at Spice Village. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 06 : Thekkady – Kumarakom (Approx. 4 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to the backwaters of Kumarakom. Check in at CGH Earth – Coconut Lagoon, a heritage lakeside resort accessible by boat. Spend the afternoon relaxing by Vembanad Lake. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise on the backwaters. Overnight stay at Coconut Lagoon.

Day 07 : Kumarakom

A full day to experience the backwaters. After breakfast, enjoy a village walk or canoe ride through narrow canals. Visit the nearby bird sanctuary, famous for migratory birds. In the evening, participate in a traditional cooking demonstration at the resort. Overnight at Coconut Lagoon.

Day 08 : Kumarakom – Marari (Approx. 1 hr drive)

Drive to Mararikulam, a serene fishing village by the Arabian Sea. Check in at CGH Earth – Marari Beach Resort, an eco-luxury seaside retreat. Spend the day at leisure on the pristine beach, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and traditional Kerala architecture of the resort. Overnight at Marari Beach Resort.

Day 09 : Marari

A full day for relaxation. You can indulge in Ayurvedic therapies, take a bicycle tour to nearby villages, or relax on the beach. Evening free to enjoy seafood specialties. Overnight at Marari Beach Resort.

Day 10 : Marari – Cochin Departure (80 km / 2 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Cochin Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey, taking back memories of Kerala’s hills, wildlife, backwaters, and beaches.
