Highlights

Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival in Manali
Arrive in Manali by bus or private vehicle in the morning. You’ll be welcomed at the bus stand by our tour representative and transferred to your hotel. After lunch, gear up and prepare your bike for the journey ahead. Ride around Kullu Valley, enjoying the view of the mighty Himalayas on one side and the Beas River on the other. Return to your hotel for dinner and rest, feeling the first spark of excitement for the long road ahead.
Day 02 : Manali to Jispa (≈92 km / ~3 hrs)
After breakfast, start your ride over Rohtang Pass — famously one of the highest motorable roads on Earth. The route takes you through the scenic Lahaul region with its Buddhist monasteries and mountain villages. Stop at Tandi where the Chandra and Bhaga rivers meet, and continue to Keylong, an important midway town. Fill up fuel or get your bike service here if necessary. Continue to Jispa, a peaceful settlement nestled beside the river for lunch and overnight stay.
Day 03 : Jispa to Sarchu (≈78 km / ~2.5 hrs)
Wake to a hearty breakfast and check out. Today you ride toward the heart of the Leh–Manali Highway, approaching the first major pass, Baralacha La at over 4,800 m. As the altitude climbs, you’ll feel the crisp mountain air and gradual changes in terrain. Descend carefully across rough patches before reaching Sarchu, a high plateau camp area where you’ll rest, enjoy dinner and spend the night under rugged mountain skies.
Day 04 : Sarchu to Leh (≈259 km / 7–8 hrs)
Today is challenging but rewarding. After breakfast, prepare for one of the most exciting sections as you pass through the Gata Loops — a series of sharp bends leading to Nakee La (4,769 m). Continue through Lachulung La (5,059 m) and farther toward Tanglang La (5,328 m), one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Along the way, take breaks and witness the serene beauty of the high desert. Reach Leh by evening, check in at your hotel, rest, and enjoy your first full night in the Ladakh region.
Day 05 : Leh to Nubra Valley (≈116 km / ~4 hrs)
After breakfast, ride through Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable points in the world. Stop at Pullu for refreshment before continuing to Diskit to seek blessings at Diskit Monastery, and see the giant statue overlooking Nubra Valley. Arrive in Nubra in the afternoon, check into your camp or guesthouse, and relax. In the evening, enjoy a desert experience — including a double-hump camel ride across the sand dunes. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 06 : Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok (≈274 km / ~8 hrs)
Begin early after breakfast for a long, scenic ride to Pangong Lake via the Shyok route. This route offers mesmerizing views of barren mountains, the Shyok River and high desert landscapes. You’ll cross Chang La Pass, another extremely high pass on the itinerary. Upon arrival at Pangong Lake, check in at your lakeside camp, soak in the surreal blue waters that change shades with the light, and enjoy dinner under the starry sky.
Day 07 : Pangong Lake to Leh (≈229 km / ~6 hrs)
After breakfast with a view, start your ride back toward Leh. Enjoy the high-altitude road with views of deep valleys and jagged mountains. After reaching Leh, check into your accommodation. Later, you can visit Shanti Stupa, a white domed peace monument offering panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains at sunset. Explore the Leh Market in the evening for souvenirs or local handicrafts. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 08 : Leh to Sarchu (Return) (≈259 km / 7–8 hrs)
After breakfast, begin your journey back toward Manali region. Cross the same high passes in reverse, riding through Tanglang La, Lachulung La, and the Gata Loops as you retrace your steps. Reach Sarchu by late afternoon for a restful night at your camp or guesthouse. Enjoy dinner and share stories of the ride so far under the open sky.
Day 09 : Sarchu to Manali (≈210 km / ~6 hrs)
On the final riding day, after breakfast, head down the Leh–Manali Highway toward Manali. Cross Baralacha La again and descend through the valley back to Lahaul region. Continue the ride past Rohtang Pass and arrive in Manali by night. Check in to your hotel, celebrate the completion of your epic bike tour, and enjoy a warm dinner.
Day 10 : Departure from Manali
After breakfast and checking out of your hotel, your unforgettable Ladakh bike tour concludes. Depart Manali with lifelong memories of your Himalayan adventure — one of India’s most exhilarating and scenic rides.
