Day 01 : Kochi

Welcome to Gateway of Kerala, Kochi or Cochin. On arrival at Kochi airport you are heartily welcome by our tour representative and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure or you can enjoy the city famous for its Fort with its Dutch Palace and Jew Street and exquisite gold designer jewellery and of course the finest spices which are in abundance. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 : Kochi

After breakfast visit ready for the sightseeing tour of massive Fort Kochi along with Chinese fishing nets, a very unique and unusual method of fishing. Later visit the splendid Bolghatty Palace, Dutch Palace, Mattancherry Palace and more than 400 year old Jewish Synagogue. Stop at the spice market before visiting St Francis Church. In the evening enjoy the kathakali dance performance with full of drama, dance, music and ritual.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03 : Wayanad (Kalpetta)

Morning after breakfast start your 4 hour journey to Kozhikode, later take a 2 hours scenic derive to Kalpetta and reached Wayanad which has so much to offer to the tourists and very famous destination of Kerala for its hills, valleys, lakes, waterfalls and the exclusive flora and fauna. On arrival check in hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure or you can go for walk tour of this beautiful city.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04 : Wayanad (Kalpetta)

Today after breakfast visit Wayanad Wildlife sanctuary and the Edakkal Caves which is believed to have been a shelter of Neolithic people. Later visit Soochippara Water Falls, Pookot Lake, Banasura Sagar dam and biggest waterfalls of Wayanad Meenmutty Falls. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05 : Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast leave for of the first wildlife sanctuaries in the country and ranks among the top in the visual beauty of its changing seasons, Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary situated at the base of the Nilgiri Hills at Mudumalai or “Land of Ancient Hill Range". On arrival check in hotel and relax.

Afternoon enjoy safari to see the variety of wildlife within the park including Nilgiri tahr, sambar, elephant, tiger, spotted deer, flying squirrel and more than 120 species of birds. Dinner an overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06 : Mysore

This morning leave for Mysore to see the splendor of the city famous for its Royal buildings, gardens, waterfalls, temples, museums and modern amusement parks and also known as the "City of Places”. On arrival check in hotel and relax. Afternoon you have an option to drive to Somnathpur one of the most famous Hoysala Temples in India.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07 : Mysore

This morning after breakfast join the throngs of pilgrims at Chamundi Hills, with its Chamundeswari Temple on top, and Nandi the Bull. Late visit Mysore Palace and Lalitha Mahal Palace also visit the beautiful St.Philomena's Church and Karanji Lake is a picturesque lake located at the footsteps of Chamundi Hills and behind Mysore Zoo.
In the late evening transfer to the railway station to catch our overnight sleeper train to Chennai.

Day 08 : Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram)

Estimated travel time 1.5 Hours (65 Kms)

Arriving early in the morning at Chennai and continue your journey to the small village of Mamallapuram, which shows the outstanding examples of Dravidian art and architecture and a jewel in the crown of Tamil Nadu. On arrival check in hotel and relax.
Later visit the impressive groups of monuments at Mamallapuram sculpted by the Pallava kings nincluding the 7th century Shore Temple. In the evening you can explore the colorful bazaar of Mamallapuram.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09 : Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram)

This morning after breakfast visit excellent examples of Pallava art Five Rathas, rock-cut cave temples Mahishasuramardhini cave, Krishna Mandapam, Varaha Cave Temple, Arjuna's Penance and the Sthalasayana Perumal Temple.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10 : Madurai

Estimate Travel Time: 2.5 hours drive and 5 1/2 hours train ride

In This morning derive to explore the beauty of serine beaches of Pondicherry, the largest French Colony in India and famous trading town. Later during the day we catch a day train for 5 1/2 hours to the temple Madurai. The temples of Madurai were built by king Nayaks who ruled Madurai from the 16th to the 18th century. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11 : Madurai

Early in the morning ready to join the Arti ceremony at Sree Meenakshi Amman Temple spread about 6 hectares of land is dedicated to god Shiva. Later take unique cycle rickshaw tour of Madurai visiting Thirupparankundram Temple, Mariamman Teppakulam, Thirumalai Nayak Palace and The Gandhi Museum. Later visit the fruit & vegetable market and stone tailor’s market.
In the late evening (about 9.00pm) you may like to visit the Meenakshi temple again for the night time rituals. Filled with incense, people and noise this is a wonderful spectacle. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12 : Thekkady

Estimated travel time 4 hours

Today derive to the spice capital of India Thekkady is a perfect retreat for anyone who loves adventure, fun, wildlife and nature. On arrival check in jungle resort and relax. Later ready for the open jeep safari to explore the treasures of tropical flora and fauna at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Afternoon enjoy boat cruise on Periyar Lake and see the various wildlife like tiger, elephants, Indian Gaur, Monkeys, Spotted deer, barking deer and birds of myriad varieties in the close quarter.
Dinner and overnight stay at jungle resort.

Day 13 : Kerala Backwaters Homestay

Estimate Travel Time: 5.5 Hours (145kms)

This morning after breakfast travel down to the Backwaters is a unique product of Kerala, which have a unique ecosystem - freshwater from the rivers meets the seawater from the Arabian Sea. On arrival check in houseboat. Afternoon cruise through the backwaters of Kerala to explore the scenic beauty of the green countryside, swaying palm trees, emerald rice fields and also enjoy sunset on the winding backwaters. Dinner and overnight stay at houseboat also known as kettuvallams.

Day 14 : Kochi & Depart

This morning enjoy the hospitality of local family home stay and later move down your houseboat to Alappuzha or Alleppey famous for its boat races, coir products, fish and lakes.
Now it’s time to pack up your bags and travel back to our starting point at Kochi. The trip ends on arrival back in Kochi then transfer to airport for your home destination.
